Parabuild CVS Interaction

Hi All,
I have a couple of questions regarding the way Parabuild uses CVS, I ask because I have one project that is having build "issues", I'm trying to identify the source of the issues and find a fix/work-around.

1) As I understand it, when Parabuild does a CVS Update it uses both Tag and Date/Time in the CVS request; is this correct?

Example: cvs update -P -A -d -D "2013-10-07 15:27:05 GMT" -r Dev_Branch

2) If Parabuild does use Data/Time in the CVS Update, from where does it get the Date and Time?

3) Is there any way to request Parabuild to do a CVS Update by Tag alone and not include the Data and Time?
(Doing this would allow me to run a test to help identify the source of the build issues).
